Obviously, I can't start a new feature about love without kicking it off with my nearest and dearest.

Emmy in SD

Emmy Jackson is my soul mate. He is also an author, avid car lover & journalist, full-time RVer, and one hell of a dancer. He is amazing in everything that he does, and his work ethic, attitude, and willingness to constantly go above and beyond has inspired much of my personal growth, even in the years of friendship before we got together.

He has written more than 8 novels, his main characters are mainly female, and they are not only believable, they are intensely loveable. He has a mental femininity of his own that I think permeates the work and lets you forget that he is a male author, even when a character has a typically male profession or interest. Again, it just makes them that much more lovable as women.
I challenge you to read one single chapter of 12 Steps and a Razor, Comfort Zone, or Race to the Sun and not immediately be intrigued by Liz, Dori, or Lexi. To see some serious craziness, check out Lexi's newest secret adventure, 16 ways to Hock a Cat, which is posted weekly-ish as it's written! Unedited, unfiltered, pure awesome.

Emmy was also my first model. He has a physique that longs to be marble and bronze, and a playfulness and desire to perform that really belongs in burlesque or on vaudevillian stages. He even sports the first erection to be featured in a British women's magazine. And for all of these things, I love him more than life itself.

Without his support, enthusiasm, and constant cheerleadering, I wouldn't be the person I am today, let alone the artist.
